Q1. What is the best way to clean my Eurostone benchtop?
Eurostone requires very little maintenance due to the unique properties of it’s composition. For everyday cleaning of your Eurostone bench top we recommend wiping the surface with warm soapy water (a mild detergent) and a damp cloth or use our unique formulation of specialised Eurostone bench top cleaner.

The best way to clean granite or engineered stone (especially black) is to use a Eurostone multipurpose microfibre cleaning cloth
Other microfibre cloths on the market don't give the same result.
The trick is to only use with water (not spray and wipe). Make sure the cloth is only damp not wet so the surface dry’s quickly with no streaks. If your cloth is too wet the bench top surface will need to be dried down which leaves un-wanted streak marks.
Q2. Possible causes for stone to crack when cutting (See images attached)
See image here.

Please note some of the possibilities that may cause engineered stone to crack whilst cutting.

  • Ensure that if using a new blade that this has been bedded in and the diamond tipped teeth on the cutting face have been exposed (this can be carried out by running the saw blade fast through a thick piece of Granite)
  • Please ensure you are cutting the stone at the correct speed (this would cover the correct cutting speed for the Blade and also the correct cutting speed for the Material) always consult your blade company and Stone supplier for more detailed information
  • When cutting Mitres, we suggest that the pieces are but cut straight first and then the mitre is cut second
  • Always ensure the saw bed is free from any debris, as this can cause vibration and allow the sheet to move putting undue stresses on the stone being cut

For more information contact your Heritage Hardware sales rep to discuss this further.
Q3. Why is there black specs in white Eurostone® colours?

Your Eurostone® bench top is one of a kind, due to quartz being a natural element each bench top will be unique, and as such there may be a variance in the sample you receive. We recommend viewing current stock so your colour expectations are met.

Black specs
Because our engineered stone is 94% quartz, cured with resin it will show irregular stone particles, this is the beauty of the product. When compared to man made or synthetic products, which are consistent in colour you may notice black specs in white stone, this is because quartz is mined from the earth, and while it is screened and colour graded to move most impurities it is not possible to remove them all without compromising the integrity of the stone.

Q4. How much weight will my Eurostone benchtop hold?
We recommend you refrain from placing excessive weight on your Eurostone bench top. Excessive weight can also have an impact on the underlying cabinet structure.
Q5. Who can fabricate my Eurostone Benchtop?
